August 2016 Bozeman Rotaract Club Service, Programs, and Socials - Check our what we've got coming up! Tues., Aug. 16th, 5:47 - 7:30 pm - Program: What is Rotary? (3282 Blackwood Rd) Come learn all about Rotary!! Our very own Bozeman Sunrise Rotarian's will be sharing information on the Rotary organization. This is a great opportunity to socialize with members and learn about this amazing club. BSRC Past President - Tim Rote is graciously hosting our club for this program along with an appetizer potluck. Please bring an appetizer to share. Sat., Aug. 20th, 8 am - 4 pm - Service: Playground Workday for HRDC Belgrade Head Start (93 Quaws Blvd. Near H & R Block)  HRDC Head-Start Preschool in Belgrade needs our help making improvements to their playground. At a workday with other community members, we will be increasing the size and levels of the sand box,  creating a nature studio, and sensory garden, creating a climbing corner, and fencing the front yard. This service day will allow the students to thrive outside and provide additional unique sensory and learning opportunities.  In order to supply the greatest numbers of volunteers we have set up two shift options (8AM-12PM and 12PM-4PM) **Please follow the link above to sign-up for your shift** https://signup.com/login/entry/11359330680104 Lunch, water, snacks, sunscreen, and a first aid kit(s) will be provided by HRDC. The only thing that HRDC asked that we bring is shovels-specifically spade/pointed Sun., Aug. 28th 5 pm - Club Yoga (Unofficial Program)  Join us at the Bozeman Oula Studio (611 N. Wallace) at 5 pm for a free yoga session with Blaise Brenton! Get your pose on and get to know some other Rotaractors.  Mark Your Calendars!
